I use wordpress for one of my blogs and after the initial worry about it being complicated I have found it works like a dream.

Once you have the basics it becomes second nature very easily. The massive array of plugins really helps too.

WordPress is ideal for most websites especially for its ease of use and extendabilty … the fact that you combined it with the headway theme gets you off to a great start.

Hi all,

I’d say 90% of the web development projects we work on are all now WordPress based (apart from my primary site which is static) and I must say from the first site implemented upon launch of WP until now, I’m more excited every time.

Anyone got any new plug-ins they want to share? I recommend using Yoast with your WP sites/blogs as it’s free and fantastic!

I have to agree. I started using WordPress in its earlier stages and it has come a long, long way. It’s everything that you need to do your daily blogging with.
I wouldn’t use anything else because I have had a great experience with it.

It’s nice to find a decent blog like yours lurking in the same niche: writing about online income as a personal thing! Honestly, your blog design’s actually pretty great and the professionalism really comes across.

On a similar note, I use WordPress too and find its fantastic to pull off creative looks. My blog goes for the more “hip” approach but this Headway theme you mentioned looks real interesting!

WordPress is much more user friendly now that it was earlier. My first couple of wordpress sites got hacked and I had to shut them down. Now it is much more secure, particularly with Akismet and Exploit Scanner Installed.

The interesting is that a lot of first time bloggers or users are afraid to fiddle with WordPress but once you get used to how it works, it’s a breeze. Good article and thanks for sharing it.
